Some photos from our trip to Miami, after cold and dreary Detroit its so nice to look back on the sunny warm days we enjoyed celebrating our friend’s upcoming nuptials. It was my first time and I was in awe of the architecture, the vibrant culture and the overall feeling of the place. Not like anywhere I have been, but I really enjoyed our time there.

My January is going to be an interesting one. On deck I have a bachelorette party to plan + attend (for my best friend in the whole wide world). I have never been to Miami but the white sand beaches, art deco architecture and Cuban cuisine are calling my name. Since you have been so helpful in the past, would you mind recommending some fun things (eating, shopping, dancing) for 18 girls to do while in South Beach for a long weekend?

Oh, I said it would be interesting. From Miami, I fly straight to the frozen tundra of Detroit for 7 days at the North American International Auto Show. Talk about climate change. I have been there before and will undoubtedly be taking my fellow food loving work friends to get a late night ‘heavy’ (chili dog with onions and mustard) from Lafayette Coney Island.
